Yes per some reviews is smaller than the normal recliner but the measurements are provided in description, and are correct. If you are a tall person that should not be a problem, is if you are wide or overweight. You might not fit since is narrower that others. Some complaint about stability nothing different you wouldn't encounter in any other recliner. Might be more subjected to tilting when recline and falling if you do things like trying to get a drink from floor while recline fully back. But logic should tell you don‘t do that. That could happen with any other chair but narrower dimensions makes it a bit easier. If you happen to be in the heavier side then the probability of that increases but that is not the recliner fault. My 5yrs old was jumping on my wife while she was trying it out and we had no stability issues. We just got the recliner so at minimum we eliminated the above worries we read in previous reviews and we assumed they were generated by either negligent use or otherwise already mentioned people issues. Now the built quality seems really good so far. We got the blue velvet one and we checked the stitches all around and the material and could not find nothing bad. Cushions feel a bit on the firm side but I imagine with use they will soften more and my wife didn’t complain about it so that‘s a win. The motor for the reclining mechanism is really silent at list for now and it works exactly like my full size sofa from Ashley. The difference is it all work by a cable remote that you can either keep on top of chair or on side pocket, not in a bottom installed on the side like in my other sofa. So far we like the recliner and think is great the only worry left is build quality since looks can be deceiving only time can tell but at these price point if we get at least a few years out of it then we are good. Oh by the way the recliner came in only one big box. We initially thought that they had only delivered half the stuff but they fitted all of it inside just one. Also in my case it was delivered by fedex and they wanted a signature for delivery. We missed their first try to deliver but got it the next day no problem. Hope my review helps someone out there as it took me a lot of time to find a recliner and eliminating some weird reviews that are out there.

This recliner was easy to put together and works as advertised. We got this for our 92 year old mom and she loved it. It's slow enough to be safe but not too slow. Very comfortable and looks great. We enjoy it too.

Nice color and super soft fabric, but is darker than in photos. Kind of chocolate brown. Comfortable and not difficult to assemble except for the side panels that attach to the back of the chair. Just had to loosen the screws a bit and then was able to slide the panels into place. Super fast delivery - much earlier than expected. Works fine for a smaller size woman and it doesn't take up a ton of space.
